The role of chaplains in the military is a unique branch of service within the armed forces. Chaplains have been in every conflict of our nation and, in fact, predates the birth of the United States of America. I will be sharing little known history of the U.S. Army Chaplain Corps and its contributions to soldiers, families, and the America. PRO DEO ET PATRIA (For God & Country)
Chaplain (Colonel-retired) Kenneth L. Beale, Jr. served 25 years of commissioned service in the U.S. Army. He was ordained a United Methodist clergy from 1975 to 2012. Since 2000, Rev. Dr. Beale has preached regularly at the historic Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel, MN. Ken resides in Woodbury, MN with his wife, Kathy. Together, they are the parents of five adult children and nineteen grandchildren.
