Speaker: David Racer

Mr. Racer is a distinguished conservative author, speaker, educator, and activist. Since 1999, he has taught high school Civics and Government in the Twin Cities, primarily serving the homeschooling community. Known to his students as “Governor Racer,” Mr. Racer was honored as Fox 9’s 2023 Top Teacher for his interactive, student-led Christian approach to political topics and for fostering students’ personal growth. Mr. Racer is well known for “American Government—For Real”, a course that explores American liberty, the Constitution, and the Declaration of Independence. 

Mr. Racer is the Founding President of the Foundation for Democracy, dedicated to educating citizens on America‘s foundational principles. He also founded Alethos Press, publisher of non-fiction works on conservative and pro-life topics, and DGR Communications, dedicated to business owners in brand development.

A four-time Republican-endorsed legislative candidate, Mr. Racer also served as national campaign manager for David Keyes in 1996. He holds a Masters of Letters from Tennessee’s Oxford Graduate School and completed undergraduate studies at Macalester College and the University of Minnesota. After completing his undergraduate studies he served in the U.S. Air Force for four years.

Mr. Racer resides in Minnesota with his wife of 58 years.
