October Breakfast Meeting
Speaker: Maggie Niemeyer, Hope Academy, Minneapolis
Maggie Niemeyer serves as the Associate Director of Partner Engagement at Hope Academy. She will join us to share the core distinctives of the Hope community, recent stories of impact, and the ways in which their partnership with Metro Republican Women could continue to grow and flourish in the years ahead.
Hope Academy was founded by Russ Gregg in the late 1990’s to improve the academic achievement gap in Minneapolis, Hope Academy serves more than 650 students (K–12), nearly 80% of whom live at or below the poverty line. They celebrate a 96% graduation rate and a beautifully diverse community (over 20+ languages are represented in their student body). In the years ahead, they look forward to growing to serve up to 1,200 students with this remarkable, God-centered, classical education.
