December Breakfast Meeting
Storyteller Pati Kachel
A storyteller for nearly 40 years, Pati Kachel knows this better than most. Heartwarming and memorable, Pati tells stories that encourage, delight and inspire. Many of Pati’s favorite stories tell of people who have changed the world in large and small ways. Audiences everywhere are captivated by her programs. She incorporates singing, poetry, colorful hats, vintage costumes, and a smattering of props. Most importantly, her stories focus on the abundant life that Jesus Christ provides to those who love Him. Pati’s passion for sharing faith-based stories began decades ago with the Salt of the Earth Storytellers, an ecumenical fellowship of Biblical storytellers. Pati is a founding member of Story Arts of Minnesota in the Twin Cities. They promote the craft of storytelling and support performers to develop as creative artists. Pati’s many years of storytelling have led her to present at a variety of venues, including churches, retreat centers, schools, libraries, hospitals, camps, tea rooms, bookstores, prisons, living rooms, homeschool co-ops, universities, coffeehouses and conference centers. She has performed from Seattle to Pittsburgh and all over the Midwest. Pati has also told her stories in the Netherlands, Germany and Canada.
It is through The Parable Fund that Pati is able to tell these stories. This nonprofit organization’s mission is to share earthly stories based in scriptural truths that communicate Judeo-Christian values
