MN Supreme Court Cases and the Significance in Coming Years

Formed in 2004, the Minnesota Voters Alliance (MVA) is a non-partisan 501c3 organization. The MVA is dedicated solely to improving the Integrity and transparency of our Elections. Their work has been focused primarily in the legal system.

Most recently, the Minnesota Voters Alliance won major lawsuits in 2018, MVA v Mansky in the US Supreme Court, in a case concerning POLLING PLACE ATTIRE; and in 2020, a federal court struck down the MPLS and St Paul voter registration requirements for landlords.

AND, just in the last FOUR years, the MVA has had FOUR cases reach the MN Supreme court with three cases involving absentee ballot boards, with a recent victory against Hennepin County, and one case dealing with the new felon voting law.
