August Breakfast Meeting

Topic: Sounding the Alarm on Education; Save the Classroom. Save the Country.

Rebekah Hagstrom is the Founder and Headmaster of Liberty Classical Academy. She believes in empowering children to fulfill their God-given purpose. How? By delivering an exceptional education that provides both the academic and spiritual training for students to become moral leaders. It’s clear this culture desperately needs them! Having raised four sons and experienced many different schools, she found it’s difficult to find a school that does both well. Encountering a void, she and her husband, Peter, along with several other parents, founded Liberty Classical Academy in 2003.

Her in-depth study and understanding of normal child development, including cognitive development, led her to fully embrace classical education as the most comprehensive and consistent philosophy of education. It provides the methodology and content to provide children the tools to learn and think for themselves. Truly. And when combined with Christian beliefs and morals, the education of the Mind, Heart and Soul is extremely powerful! Noticeably different.

She is also passionate as a speaker and leader regarding educational and public policy issues such as Critical Race Theory, School Choice, Civics Education, and more and is co-host of Education America, a radio show and podcast on AM1280 The Patriot on Saturday evenings at 6 pm. Podcasts and resources are available at http://savetheclassroom.com

Her mission is to equip parents to understand the system of education and its overwhelming influence on our culture today. She encourages parents to ask questions of schools because the answers directly impact their children’s future, and collectively, the trajectory of our nation.

Mrs. Hagstrom holds a B.S. (Summa Cum Laude) in Communication Disorders and a M.A. in Speech Pathology both from University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

Registration closes August 10 at 9:00 p.m.
