Metro Republican Women
The Metro Republican Women is an organization dedicated to the election of Republican candidates and the advancement of conservative ideas. We provide a forum for likeminded women in the Twin Cities to learn, connect, and grow through regular meetings and events. Our members come from many different age groups, occupations, and backgrounds. We are united by our desire to promote freedom and opportunity for all through involvement in the political process and active support of charitable causes. The MRW typically holds monthly breakfast meetings to introduce new members, speak with candidates, and support ongoing club projects. Visit one of the breakfast meetings to learn about the many other opportunities to get involved with the MRW. We thank you for taking the time to visit our website and look forward to seeing you at our next event!

MRW has been so welcoming and really works hard to reach out to a diverse community. I thoroughly enjoy my time with the members of the club and fully support their mission. It’s wonderful to be a part of such a special group of ladies.
The leaders and ladies of MRW exhibit great class, intelligence, and dedication. The organization is extremely well-run and the monthly breakfasts are always enjoyable! I am very proud to be a part of MRW.

I am a charter member of MRW and past state president of the MN Federation of Republican Women. I am an Occupational Therapist and have worked in cardiac rehab at Regina Hospital in Hastings for 22 years. I have been active in my senate district, state party and many, many campaigns. One of my passions is the political process, and I always look forward to the meetings and time spent with the wonderful Republican women of like mind.
I have been active in many local and state campaigns and currently am Fundraising Chair of my Senate District. I am a principal of The Wallace Group, a public relations, marketing communications and consulting firm service in the Twin Cities area. I have presented communications seminars on personal networking and professional interactions to business groups in Minnesota and around the country. I graduated from the University of Washington and later earned an M.A. in Counseling from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul.
I joined MRW shortly after the 2008 elections looking for like-minded people and found MRW! I enjoy the speakers that are offered, the company of other like-minded women, and the ability to use my energy and thoughts to help turn this country around.
As a lifelong learner, I look at the world as a place from which I can glean an infinite amount of knowledge. Over time, the only challenge is in how to remember all that I have learned. Along the way, I meet interesting people like the ones at MRW. I feel privileged to be the corresponding secretary for 2015-17. Outside of MRW, I write, speak, work out, read, and cook.
I learned about and joined MRW after attending my very first caucus and convention in 2008. I was always opinionated but knew I couldn’t complain without actually being involved! Most of my friends are Democrats and it is great meeting and working with the like-minded and accomplished women of MRW. I am a College of St. Catherine graduate. My husband and I are restaurant owners. And, yes. We did build that!!
After dedicating decades to raising children, teaching English and coaching speech, I planned to fill my post-retirement years with the things I love—writing, gardening, cooking, and influencing public policy. So, after a long absence, I put MRW back in my life. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I cherish the opportunities MRW provides me to keep informed while enjoying the company of the best women in Minnesota.
